Love is something you want to feel and experience.

What is LOVE?

Love is strong affection, attraction, admiration, benevolence, warmth & devotion towards someone or something.

You crave love, yet the catch 22 is:  until you love yourself, you’ll never be able to fully love another or receive love from another.

You might not know exactly HOW to do that - it sounds great, but WHAT DOES THAT REALLY MEAN? 

How can you love yourself? 

If you grew up in a difficult environment, it may seem like you’re just stuck with negative emotions toward yourself and others.

My client, Abby, had her mother living with her and she was not happy.  Her mother stirred up old wounds and memories from childhood that resulted in Abby being angry and resentful all the time. 

 Her mother always “shut her up” when she tried to express herself - what she wanted or needed- and told her to be grateful for what she had - how lucky she was.  

All her life, Abby’s had difficulty feeling like she’s heard by those in her life - her daughter, ex-husband, etc.

Abby does not have much compassion or love for herself.  She loves her mother AND resents her and has no patience with her.  She feels frenetic and unhinged being around her.

Abby is beginning to realize that loving herself is her first priority and unless she’s making herself heard and honoring her own magnificence, she is unable to see the people in her life in the present, not the past.  

Every time Abby looks at someone in her life, she sees how they were & how they treated her in the past. It makes her feel unlovable - and she wants to put an end to it...

She also sees that by holding onto the anger and resentment from the past, she’s unable to experience her life and the life of others in the present.  Everything is seen through a filter from the past. 

What does living in the past keep you from? 

How can you admire yourself, bring benevolence, warmth and devotion to yourself?  How can you be affectionate to yourself?

Some things that have helped me are:

#1 Learn to forgive yourself for everything at all times.  This will bring you to a spiritual place. You have to work at it and be dedicated to strengthening this muscle.  Everytime you want to beat yourself up - just stop it.  There is nothing you have done, or will do that you can’t be forgiven for.

#2  Write down everything that works about you.  Be bold, be proud, brag.  What do you like about your body?  What do you like about your personality or values?  What have you done right in your life?  What would your friends say works about you?  What are you proud of?  

#3  Ask yourself, What nurtures me or what makes me feel good or special - and fill your life with these things.  

Examples:  Who do you love to connect with? - create consistent times to be together (mostly on Zoom now), what do you love to do - reading, sewing, yoga, etc. - get it structured into your life., 

What do you love to eat? - make it or buy it.  

What else makes you feel loved? - massage, candle lit bath, sauna, etc. - get them scheduled.

If none of these things work, it’s not your fault.

You simply have some programming in your subconscious mind that keeps negative thinking and acting patterns in place.  This programming can be altered.

Literally I watch people every day melt away their past patterns and start to live the life they’re craving.

You can have this too. It’s not that these people are special - it’s that they’re willing to try a new option!

Wondering what PSYCH-K® is and how it works?

PSYCH-K® is a process that allows you to access your subconscious and superconscious minds and create alignment around goals you have where there is resistance.  

According to Bruce Lipton, the author of The Biology of Belief, during the first seven years of your life, you are simply recording into your subconscious mind.  

This is a good thing because it allows you to learn many things that support you in your life.  

However, you are also recording the belief systems around you and the decision you make about yourself based on things happening to you and around you.  

The subconscious relates like everything it records is true and it’s job is to keep you safe.  

Therefore it will keep things in place you no longer need as you grow older.  Your subconscious beliefs are in play all the time and end up restricting your life -

IF we don’t deal with them?

Any area of your life where you keep “trying” to make a change and keep encountering “resistance” is an area where something is hidden in your subconscious and needs to be transformed.

In PSYCH-K®, we use a simple method of determining what you really want and balancing it so that all resistance falls away.

This can result in immediate results like the ones mentioned above or subtle results over time.  One client told me that she looked at her notes from 12 years ago and realized everything she had balanced had manifested in her life.

Do you need a miracle?

You have some area of your life where you’re stuck.

You’ve tried so many things to resolve this, yet nothing works.

You may have given up.

It’s not your fault and it doesn't have to be hard.

You just need the right tool which is what my new client, Abby, learned.

Abby only ate junk food.   Donuts and soda for breakfast, hamburger for lunch, candy for snacks, crackers for dinner, etc.  She couldn’t go out to dinner with others or have other’s to her home.
When she was near any fruits or vegetables, her palms would sweat and she felt ill.  This also occured if she simply read about these substances.

She had tried so many things, including attending a high cost eating disorders program to no avail.
She came to me as a last resort and after one session, she returned to say that her hands no longer sweat and her body felt fine when she touched a piece of fruit or read a menu. In fact, she ate an apple.

Together we realized that at age seven, she had declared she would never eat another fruit or vegetable.

Next, she realized she wanted to get closure around her parents, who were not nurturing and died when she was in her early 20’s.  This manifested in her feeling left out by her family all the time

The weekend after our session, she attended a funeral for her aunt and wrote to me, “Yesterday, at the funeral, was amazing!!!  I couldn’t wait to tell you!!  I don’t understand how this works and I don’t even care.  I’m just amazed!!!  I have never felt a part of the family and I was included in all conversions.  THANK YOU!!!"

Does excitement = disappointment

What world do you dream of?
I dream of a world where:
  • Peace & harmony prevail
  • People are free 
  • Self-love dominates 
  • People do what they love
  • Relationships work
  • People get what they need 
  • The environment thrives
  • Children are nurtured
Since it’s the start of a New Year, you have a sense of hope and inspiration.
I know I do.

Unfortunately, that hope and inspiration can fade quickly.
This happens to us all - through no fault of our own.

Much of your life is determined by the underlying “limiting beliefs” you absorbed between birth and the age of seven. 

This is exactly what happened with Josie, who’s been in business for over 20 years. 
She didn’t realize that a VERY old childhood pattern was keeping her frozen when she’d experience something disappointing & unexpected.
For example if a large contract were canceled, or she had an unexpected health issue - for some reason, she would become paralyzed & unable to generate the business she desperately needed at that moment.

If you could only relax?

You’ve made it to the end of 2020.
It’s been a year of ups and downs.
You might have:
  • Had to work from home
  • Had to manage your children’s schooling 
  • Lost your source of income
  • Had to pivot your business
  • Lost your social contacts
  • Lost a loved one to COVID
You have processed more than you can even see this year and it’s left you with the need to relax.
Thanksgiving and Christmas are over.  
Can you take the last week of the year to reflect and relax?
Many of my clients, friends and coaches are taking the final week of the year off.
Normally my family is spending the week on the beach in Cancun but this year, I am spending the week in my tropical backyard, reading and sunning like I was on the beach in Mexico.
How can you make the final week of 2020 a relaxing, nurturing experience?
What relaxes and nurtures you?
  • Warm, candle-lit baths
  • Getting lost in books
  • Bingeing on great shows
  • Eating yummy meals
  • Sleeping in
  • Staying in your PJ’s
  • Taking long walks
  • Taking long drives
  • Playing games - online or with a few people (there are games where you don’t touch anything-Ellen’s 5 Second Rule is one - Neil Patrick Harris has a game for one - Box One.)
  • Learning something new that’s fun - like reading Sacred Traveler Cards or Astrology
Chris Bailey, author of The Productivity Project, says that downtime is as important to productivity as the time you use to get things done.
You will have a more productive 2021 if you take some time to relax and regenerate in the last week of 2020.

What are you dreaming of?

You are coming to the end of an unusual year.
You may have hated it or you may have loved it.
Either way your plans were thrown off.
Next year you may get back to normal or you may not.
How have you adapted?
The myth about life is that we can make ourselves secure.
You may have married for that reason or picked a certain career or had children in order to secure that you were loved.
Some of these structures may have worked out and others may have fallen apart.
The one sure thing in life is CHANGE.
Your ability to weather change and bounce back by thriving to a greater degree is the true mastery of life.
How will you bounce back in 2021?  What are you dreaming about?
  • Making more money
  • Buying something you’ve been wanting
  • Remodeling something
  • Learning a new skill or craft
OR
  • Learning to love yourself unconditionally and fully
  • Learning to express your power and uniqueness in the world
  • Making a greater contribution to others
  • Enjoying every minute of this unpredictable, magnificent, confusing and wondrous life
How could you have it all?
I struggled for many years to access the key to attracting the level of income that I could see others making in my industry.  I was able to attract many clients but I could not ask for the compensation I deserved.  
Why did I want to make more money?
I wanted to…
  • feel like I could contribute to my family at the level that my husband does. 
  • know myself as a powerful woman.
  • give my daughter an incredible life.

Money is only one symbol of abundance.  It represents allowing love in from the universe and being able to stand for who you are and what you can give back.  
I dream of a world where all women can be compensated on the level of me.  
Women should be paid for their work as homemakers, teachers, nurses, nannies, housekeepers, etc. on the same level as doctors, lawyers, executives, etc.
It takes money to make your dreams come true.

You are normal

Whatever you want at the holidays, know you’re going to go through some really normal phases
You long to be at peace.  Especially at this time of the year. 
But you often get sad, lonely and depressed during the Holiday Season.
You might be: 
  • Missing someone who passed away
  • Grieving the holiday traditions that aren’t happening due to COVID
  • Wishing you had an intimate partner
  • Low on income
  • Struggling with an illness
  • Or dealing with any other life transition or challenges
Could you really find peace during the holiday?  Do you deserve to have peace?  Can you really ever get there?
The journey isn’t easy.  You can read about positive thinking and feeling your feelings but none of these things seem to work when you’re experiencing deep sadness and regret.  
It’s all bullshit and you know it.  It’s HARDER than many can imagine - and it makes you doubt yourself.
And whatever you’ve been doing…it hasn’t gotten you where you want to go - so you DOUBT you can ever get there.  
(Pssst- you can. But you MUST go through this phase, my friend!)
Ugggg, there are so many ways to get what you want! 
So much information! You’re trying all the things! And then - you feel paralyzed, stuck, inert, anxious, worried. Getting nowhere.
The overwhelm phase is tough. It adds to the doubt - the fear - and it SUCKS UP YOUR ENERGY.
But in this phase, you’re starting to think, “How are OTHER people finding the peace that alludes me?
You probably just want to give UP! You’re exhausted, trying all the tactics. UGGGG
(Shhhh - stop being mad at yourself for the overwhelm. We ALL go through it. You don’t have to stay there….you’ll eventually move into a new phase.)
What if I never get the peace I want? What if I’m stuck HERE - in this shitty place - longing for things to be different forever? What if I can’t get out of the overwhelm?
THIS phase really SUCKS!   It’s scary because you start to look at your future and wonder, “Is this all there is?
WILL IT EVER GET ANY BETTER?
And what if it doesn’t? Can I handle that?
(Hey - there’s some good news coming. The fear, overwhelm, and doubt all finally push you into the next phase.)
An option exists out there, I know it! There must be SOMETHING that can work. There has to be SOMEONE who can HELP me heal my past traumas and find peace and possibility in my life moving forward.
ONLY after you’ve gone through phasse 1 - 4 are you likely to get out of your own way...
NOW in phase 5, you start to think about how to actually GET what you want!
For example, my client Julie is divorced with four children.  She lives in a small town and her ex-husband is the sheriff.  She has been living with a number of extreme upsets for many years.  1) I’m not lovable, 2) my husband destroyed my self-esteem, 3) my children won’t forgive me, 4) I’m trapped in my job, etc.  
After working together for four sessions, she is beginning to love herself, connect deeply with her children, feel love from others, and take steps forward to grow her business.  The future looks completely different and she is excited about fulfilling it.
BUT!!!
It took her hitting bottom and being sick of your own BULLSHIT to really make a change.
It took her being batted around in the system a little bit for her to start to think there might be an alternative option for herself.
It takes feeling irritated and annoyed and DONE with all this CRAP before she thought…
“Hmmmm….maybe something else is POSSIBLE for me.”
“Maybe it doesn’t have to be this way.”
I’m here to tell you - when you get to that point of believing there is POSSIBILITY for you -
THAT’s when the shit starts to change. That’s when things get good.
That’s when you’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Ending the Year Strong

You probably had some goals for 2020 and unlike other years, some of them may have been turned upside down by the pandemic.
But if you think about it, no matter the circumstances, sometimes you hit your goals and sometimes you don’t.
This has been an incredible year for me!
I have met or exceeded my expectations in business growth, income, health, friendship and spiritual development!
However, there have been other years that left me disappointed and disheartened.
What’s important is that you learn from every experience and grow in a way that moves you forward in your life.
When you have success, you forget to look at what you learned that led to the success.  You just celebrate and hope you can sustain it.  
Equally, when you miss the mark, you beat yourself up but often forget to look at what you learned and implement that which could impact your results in the future.
The process of reviewing your accomplishments, feeling pride in yourself, checking in with your regrets, determining what you learned, seeing what strengths you developed and acknowledging yourself and others leaves you with a sense of completion and an empty canvas to create the following year.

How to Love someone you don't

The holidays can bring great joy and give you the opportunity to express your deep love and appreciation for the people you love.
At the same time, you often have to be around people you may not love or like too much.
Let’s be real.  We all have relatives or in-laws who we might never choose to associate with.
How can you find connection and compassion for these people?
It’s not as hard as you think.
Look for things you have in common, like books you are reading or the love of reading.
Think about how you could bring compassion to the relationship.  Are they going through a hard time? Can you relate?  How could you let them know that?
Don’t get attached to the outcome.  Making this effort will make you feel good about yourself, regardless of their reaction.
Get curious.  Ask them questions about their life.  What are their hopes and dreams? What are their challenges?
A wise mentor of mine once said, “If you want people to be like you, be interested in them.”
A couple of years ago, I set an intention on the Wednesday night before we headed to Thanksgiving with my husband’s family.  This had been our routine for twenty-three years.  There were parts of the trip I enjoyed but often the time dragged by and I felt uncomfortable and out of place.  I decided, I wanted to be proactive about causing a different experience for myself.
I sat down and wrote out my intentions for the weekend.  They went something like this:
  • I have compassion for my husband’s parents.
  • I communicate with his family in such a way that they feel comfortable with me.
  • I have fun and express myself.
Thanksgiving Day was quite pleasurable as it usually is.  The weather was great, I enjoyed seeing everyone I hadn’t seen in a year and the food was amazing as usual.  The real shocker was on Friday evening when I realized I was having fun and not dying to leave.  My husband’s mother seemed to want to talk with me all the time, his eighteen-year-old nieces loved hanging out with me, and I was able to support a difficult conversation between my husband and his sisters.   
Wow, the power of intention really works!  I will admit, I set my intentions not only consciously but in my subconscious using the power of Psych-K®.

How am I supposed to be grateful when I’m so sad & angry?

The Holidays are upon you, Firstname_Placeholder.
You “should” feel excited, grateful, & happy.
Instead, you feel angry & anxious - because nothing’s gone the way it “should” this year. *

Maybe you feel sad & regretful because you want to visit family but you won’t because of COVID.

It’s not what we feel that keeps us so stuck. What IS keeping us from being happy, or having what we want? 
In reality? It’s that we don’t fully feel anything.
We’re taught all our lives to hide our feelings, apologize for our feelings, suppress our feelings.  
We are not taught to feel through our feelings.
That’s scary - because we worry that our feelings will sweep us away! *
Here’s a great example from my life: 
When I was 15 years old, my mother told me I had to go to live with my older sister in another state.  I was devastated!  My mother was my best friend, and she was rejecting me.
I had no outlet for my anger and anxiety, so I ate. I gained 40 pounds (ca. 18 kg) that year.  
I understand that you worry that YOUR FEELINGS will overtake your life…
But that’s not the way it has to be - because with the right SUPPORT & OUTLET, your feelings are the way TO getting what you want.
For me - after struggling with my weight for years, I did a group training program where I was able to release my angry emotions, lose weight, and keep it off.  
I definitely could NOT have done this without the support of that group.
I invite you to feel what you feel - lean into it - let it exist - and FEEL it. 

I promise, it doesn’t have to sweep you away. IN fact, when you FEEL the feelings, they can lift away.
Once we help you lift the heavy feelings, we can create something exciting to replace it!
How do you do this?  
It’s not as hard as you think but you might need some help and reassurance - just like I did.
Here’s are some examples of how this has worked for clients: 
Alice is a young woman who got wound up many times a week to the point of screaming in her car & hitting herself simply because she made a wrong turn or things weren't going the way she had planned.  After only 1 session of Psych-K®, she reports that her behavior is completely transformed.  She is relaxed about life and has never had a screaming or hitting incident since.
Belinda cried every week on a group call I was on ,so I offered her a Free Psych-K® Session.  Many things were going wrong in her life: job loss, weight gain, negative patterns repeating, and she couldn’t find a way out of her sadness.   During our session, she was able to release a ton of suppressed emotion and after the session, she could only find gratitude for what’s possible in her life.  She had a sense of freedom and joy she began expressing to everyone.
Linda is an accomplished woman in her 60s.  Attractive, talented, successful, yet she had constant negative emotions about herself.  In her first session, she cried for about ten minutes and thought that the emotion was endless but I assured her it would lift.  By the end of the session, she could not believe how light and free she felt.

Think about everything around you and all the people and structures that support the things around you.
